kindness as resource
an unlimited supply
and non-polluting

the hum of a fan
comforts me and distracts me
helps concentration

I think I was born
about twelve years too early
ahead of my time?

failures of the past
begin to catch up to me
consequence calls

life without coffee
too awful to contemplate
like sky without blue

corner of the eye
we see what we want to see
need a double take

what good is money?
it's useful for peace of mind
and for diapers, too.

sleeping with his rear end up
how is that comfy?

injured while running
"it just can't happen to me"
but wait, it just did!
