One Haiku Every Day

start up the tractor
there's heavy weather coming
time to move some snow

busy, busy Sean
some lunch, a nap and a bath
makes a hectic day

a confident word
and unexpected kindness
have healing power

Oh, to lose some weight
Thanksgiving Day massacre
it starts tomorrow

it tastes like failure
kind of bitter, slightly rank
much less is better

he's fourteen months old
not quite walking or talking
happy little boy

new improved gadget
a crow with something shiny
I love cool new stuff

terrible posture
back is slouched, therefore I am
someday I will pay

always catching up
once I'd like to get ahead
then take a deep breath

each morning I am
greeted by hungry horses
my pleasure to feed
