napping puppy dog
a sunny spot on the floor
a warm siesta

record heat today
the record I want to break
one year of summer

coming out of it
a deep February funk
is it the sunshine?

first up this morning
I run downstairs to see him
first hug of the day

stationary bike

some low impact exercise

while watching TV

Ouch!  Dammit, that hurt!
I'm going to break my neck
I should salt the deck

want to run away
having a hard time looking
reality sucks

thirty-six degrees
a lot warmer than it's been
